Connor Walters is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Libertyville, IL who attends Libertyville. Medium frame with longer limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a short side step to low leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and utilized a compact arm circle at take back. Released from an extended three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashed occasional downhill tilt through the zone topping at 75 mph. Curveball showed looser 11/5 shape with solid depth when maintaining arm speed through extension. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing developing footwork while ranging for and working through the baseball. Funnels the baseball well and worked through exchange efficiently. Varies arm angle at released and created some on line carry to the bag at 70 mph. Right handed hitter with an even stance and compact leg lift trigger. Loose path to contact with a linear barrel plane through extension. Flashed some feel for the barrel with the ability to work to all fields. Projects for additional jump off the barrel with continued physical development.
