2018 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Zach Albury is a 2020 RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West HS. Recorded a 7.77 second 60-yard dash time. Tall, slender frame with lots of room to fill out physically. Primary righthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Works exclusively from the stretch. Medium leg lift to the belt and lands online down the mound. Long arm stroke in the back with some whip to the arm. Compact, three-quarters arm slot. Showed a slower curveball with some depth to it and can command the pitch well. Pounds the zone well and attacks hitters with fastballs. Very good command to both sides particularly the arm side of the plate. Two-pitch present mix and induces weak contact well. Good student.
