Malcolm Moore is a 2022 C/IF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Sacramento, CA who attends C. K. McClatchy. Big and strong athletic build. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Very good lower half athleticism on defense, comes out of his crouch quickly and cleanly, very quick release on his throws and makes accurate throws, 2.00 in the game. Left handed hitter, has good rhythm into his swing, quick hips that turn hard into contact, strong swing with present bat speed, mostly a line drive swing plane but will recognize pitches to lift with easy plus power. Physical and athletic catcher with a nice balance of tools and skills. Excellent student, verbally committed to Stanford. Named to play in the PG All-American Classic.
