Julian Hernandez is a 2024 C/SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Homeschool. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. Very good defensive catcher, plays with energy and quickness, blocks well, shows leadership skills and game knowledge, 2.03 and 2.09 game throws to get runners, sound overall fundamentals to go with his energy and actions. Right handed hitter, has an under control swing with an uphill swing plane, gets the ball in the air consistently, power will come with additional strength and maturity. Also pitched, high leg lift delivery with a short catcher's arm stroke, high 3/4's slot. Was up to 84 mph with his fastball while showing a consistent slurve type breaking ball, threw strikes with both pitches and had a good inning. Good student. Named to the Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
