Lucca Sanguinetti is a 2024 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends Archbishop Mitty. Medium frame with a young, lean build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.78 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Proved to have some lateral range when on the move. Fields the baseball out front before funneling to the body. Quick transfers and was accurate with throws as he threw it 66 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a small gather step to a higher leg lift before driving down the mound. Full arm circle in the back before releasing from a high three-quarter slot. Balanced throughout the operation and proved he could repeat his actions. Two pitch mix shown as he ran the fastball up to 68 mph while filling up the zone. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball showing 11-to-5 movements that he landed for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and upright with high hands. High leg lift before striding out. Bat gets vertical as he works into a linear swing path. Proved he could find the barrel and looked to drive it back up the middle when possible. Outstanding Student.
