Finn Parker is a 2022 RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Sonoma, CA who attends Sonoma Valley. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, room to fill and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a front step leading into a short leg lift below belt and repeats mechanics well; full arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point and does a nice job of staying on line down the mound while creating some extension out front. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, shows subtle cut action and works to the bottom of the zone with looseness to arm action. Feel for off speed will continue to develop, changeup offers short sinking life at 64 mph; induced weak contact off the bat. Similar full arm action in the outfield, takes short steps moving towards the ball, works to a lower slot on release with accuracy to the base, carry will continue to develop with additional lower half involved at release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a leg lift trigger with slight hip coil at top. Full swing path through the zone and shows present bat speed; sound approach and was on time with shift in live action, works to the opposite field well.
