Byron Gonzalez is a 2022 3B/1B, OF with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Lynwood, CA who attends Warren HS. Recorded an 8.97 second 60-yard dash time. Young frame with some present strength and size well-proportioned through the lower half to project well physically. Primary third baseman who fields out in front and gets on top of throws. Accurate throws with short steps up the middle. Quickness to hands with currently overall developing arm strength. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Short stride to transfer weight to the front side. Flashing some jump through the point of extension with an upper half dominant swing and best contact came when working to the opposite field. Good student.
