Cole Miller is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Bowie. Nice young pitcher's build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a short side step start to a high leg lift, gets into his back side well and has good lower half drive down the mound, stays in line well, high 3/4's arm slot from a medium length arm action. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, ball comes out of his hand easy, fastball velocity projects well, most of his fastballs worked to the arm side. Threw both a curveball and a slider, the curveball was a much better pitch at this point with good downer depth and a consistent release. Tended to pull around a flat sweeping slider. Good chance to keep improving at the next level. Good student, verbal commitment to Abilene Christian. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
