2020 PG Underclass All American Games
Devin Taylor is a 2022 OF/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends LaSalle. He ran a 7.05 second sixty. A primary outfielder he with a young medium build and still shows room to add strength on the frame moving forward. He waits back on the ball in the outfield and could carry his momentum into the throws more effectively, his throws showed some developing arm strength with an uphill release and full arm action. At the plate he starts with a open stance for the left side, using a hovering leg lift to trigger the swing with a smooth barrel path that stays in the zone a long time, the ball jumps off the barrel with lift to the pull side when get catches it out front. Named to the 2020 PG Underclass All American Games Top Prospect List. Good student. Verbal commitment to Indiana
