Branson Crawford is a 2026 C/RHP/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends North Hall. Medium frame with lean frame, super athletic build and good mover with present twitch and wiry strength to his actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.83 seconds. Primary position catcher, working from a wider initial setup and gaining ground with precise foot work. Quick hands working the glove well to a clean midline transfer and putting himself in good position to throw. Elite arm strength already, super quick hand ripping the ball on line down to second. Getting to the bag in the air with plenty left in it up to 84 mph with pop time best 1.85 seconds. Real deal behind the dish with athletic skill set. RHH working from an open base, well balanced and high handset using smaller leg lift trigger to get started. Gets the foot down and squares the ball up regularly through the zone. Wiry strength shows here again, displaying legitimate pull side juice and ability to elevate the ball with ease. Comprehensive offensive catcher skillset who should be on every programs short list to see this summer and fall. Good student as well.
