Jovani Zara is a 2027 C/3B, UT with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends TNXL Academy. Ran a 7.59 second 60 yard dash time. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to fill out and get stronger. Primary catcher who posted a best recorded pop time of 1.95 seconds with 78 mph throws. Higher set up with a compact arm action and very good arm strength on throws. Accurate throws down to the bag and repeats his actions well with athleticism that plays behind the plate. Secondary infielder who works around the ball nicely with clean funnels. Accurate throws across and has utility to play multiple positions. Left-handed hitter with a balanced base, a high hand set, and a high back elbow. Loose stroke with a small leg lift trigger. Stays connected through contact at the launch point. Strong hands with impressive bat speed. Lags the barrel nicely and already shows the ability to leverage with intent and power potential. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
