Jaxon Wylie is a 2025 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Mansfield. Primary first baseman with a longer slender build showing room to add physicality moving forward. Showed above average speed with a 6.78 second sixty. Has some feel for the actions at first base with confidence in the glove receiving the ball out front and funneling in cleanly to the midline. Does a nice job with the footwork on the double play feeds with accurate throws. Receives the ball a bit deeper in the outfield with little momentum working into the throws as he gains some ground with good direction into the throws with a longer arm action. Right-handed hitter starts with a wider base and short stride into contact. Hand path stays direct to the ball impacting the inside part of the ball with developing bat speed and strength at the point of contact. Excellent student.
