Sebastian Morales is a 2023 C/IF, OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Weeki Wachee, FL who attends Cranford. Ran a 7.95 second 60 yard dash. A primary catcher with an athletic frame, starts with an even base in his crouch, showed a longer arm action while doing a good job of staying in his legs through the throw with a 2.20 second pop time. on the infield he waits back on the ball with soft hands working out front, arm action was long with developing arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, as a switch hitter his left handed swing stats with a low stride, he does a nice job working to the inside part of the ball pushing his hands through contact with good extension, from the right side of the plate he displayed a grooved bat bath with good barrel control through the zone while still getting extended out front. Good student.
