Camden Wimbish is a 2023 C/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Locust, NC who attends West Stanly. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout, strong lower half. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, gets tall coming out, receives the ball out front and works to a shorter arm action, quick transfer out of glove, showed carry and arm strength on throws to second when on top of ball at release. Also pitched, leg lift up past belt, similar short and quick arm action through the backside, creates some whip coming through. Repeats delivery well with simple movements; fastball topped out at 87 mph and maintained running life to both sides of the plate, consistent short shape to slider up to 75 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, simple swing, subtle weight shift through lower half moving into contact. Can incorporate additional lower half stride, shows fluidity to barrel with some life coming off when squared, turned around fastball for extra-base knock in game, best contact when getting extended out front. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
