Ayden Viera is a 2022 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 167 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Dr. Phillips. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, projectable frame with long levers and room to add strength. Primary outfielder with anticipatory actions into the fielding process, fielding slightly off to the side of his front foot and working into a longer, full arm action. Incorporates longer strides to range fairly well to either side, gathering with deliberate actions into and through the transition stage. Recorded arm strength up to 75 mph in outfield drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher with deliberate paced delivery, segmented movements into balance and slightly collapsed lower half mechanics down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the most part, topping out at 76 mph in this look from a longer, full three-quarters arm slot. Shows developing command of the strike zone that will improve with refinement of his mechanics and additional strength. Right-handed hitter that from an even based stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and simple leg lift trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and hand load to get to launch, while showing line drive barrel plane and some present hand strength. Mostly middle-of-the field approach with the ability to turn the barrel on the inner half. Will continue to improve with refine of defensive skill set and additional strength as he matures.
