Luka Brocilo is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends Archbishop Mitty. Long and slender young build, lots of time and room to grow and get stronger. Slow paced deliberate delivery on the mound, coiled high leg raise over the rubber, 3/4's arm slot, still developing front side consistency as he comes down the mound. Mid -70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, gets some cutting action when his front side opens early. Primary fastball pitcher, worked in an occasional mid-60's breaking ball with good developing spin and 11/5 shape when he stayed on top of it. Right handed hitter, rotational upper body swing, handled the barrel well with young bat speed and hand strength. 7.94 runner, had a lower arm slot from the outfield than on the mound with young outfield actions. Will continue to improve as he gets stronger.
