Brandon Rovinelli is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Shelton, CT who attends Derby. Ran an 8.35 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a young frame and slender build that has room to fill out and add strength. Starts from the windup with a small side step into a belt high leg lift. Creates good direction down the mound and finishes falling slightly to the glove side. Has a longer arm action in the back with developing arm speed from a high three-quarter slot. Shows good command of the straight fastball in the zone and has developing feel to spin a low-50s curveball as well as a changeup. Secondary third baseman that worked out in the infield. Moves well to the glove side with developing glove actions before making accurate throws across the diamond at 66 miles per hour. Switch hitter that currently has better tools from the left side. Has a high back elbow with a short and compact swing. Has developing bat speed from both sides with barrel feel and control that should develop as the frame continues to mature. Excellent student.
