Brett Hall is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Tom Glenn. Recorded a 6.65 second sixty yard dash time, showing impressive speed. Very projectable body, long and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary outfielder with an aggressive approach, plays through the ball well and carries his momentum towards the target. Shows a quick and whippy arm, recorded throws on a line and to the bag at 89 mph. Plays with good intent, has the speed to cover a lot of ground in the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch and utilizes drop and drive lower half mechanics. Medium arm circle with a high release point, keeps the same arm speed and tunnels his off speed well. Very clean and repeatable operation, flashed a three-pitch mix that he could use pretty interchangeably. Throws the changeup often and was an effective pitch when paired with a fastball on the hands. Velo dropped off after the first inning. Also threw a breaking ball with horizontal shape and bite, not a bad pitch and could throw it more often. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and even hand set, utilizes a small leg lift trigger. Can elevate with ease, ball really jumps off the bat when squared. Found barrels and drove the ball to both gaps, hitting one off the fence in right-center and making consistent loud contact to his pull side. Excellent student. Lamar commit. Named to the 2021 Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.
