Jake Harper is a 2021 OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from San Pedro, CA who attends San Pedro. Average height and overall athletic body, the frame can add and carry weight easily. A primary outfielder has an athletic approach, quick feet and works through the ball well. Good glove use and has a quick transfer and release. Throws are accurate and carry well, up to 89 mph during workouts. The left-handed hitter has a wide base and uses a toe tap to start the weight transfer. Showed ability to switch between toe tap and a leg lift to try and add power. Flat path and line drive approach, has life to his barrel and good eye hand coordination. Scrappy hitter in games and has the ability to make adjustments with his hands and hit balls to all fields. Good table setter. Very good student. Named to the West Coast Top Prospect List.
