Alex Brown is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Manassas, VA who attends Osbourn HS. Large frame with present strength in build. Ran a 7.42 second 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a simple delivery to the plate. Aggressive on the mound and throws a high amount of strikes. Shows some deception from the left side. Works both edges well with the fastball showing late life through the zone at 83 miles per hour. Mixes in a developing curveball that found the zone with some consistency. Also worked out defensively as a secondary outfielder. Aggressive close to the ball field well off to the side. Gets the ball out quick with smooth transitions. Side arm release with some carry to the infield at 80 miles per hour. Lefthanded hitter with an open stance to start. Short and compact stroke with hand quickness through the zone. Works both to the pull side as well as middle of the field.
