Jackson Manning is a 2023 MIF/1B/3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Keosauqua, IA who attends Van Buren Community. Long and slender broad shouldered build, lots of physical projection remaining. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Has good lower half actions in infield, moves well side to side and especially to his left, good footwork moving through his throws, charges the ball well with a quick and easy release, some carry on his throws from a compact arm action. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a short shift into contact, gets out to his front side with his upper half and will get off balance at times, short line drive swing with some barrel skills and hits to all fields, has the size and leverage to open up his swing for more power in the future. Will continue to improve in all areas with additional strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
