John Guilbeaux is a 2020 OF/3B/SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Opelousas, LA who attends Opelousas. Large frame with an athletic build. Present strength with square shoulders. Ran a 7.48 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Moves well to the ball with athletic strides. Fields to the side with a longer exchange. Longer arm action in the back. Stays accurate to the bag with occasional carry in at 74 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance. Utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Hard linear drift into contact. Swings with intent on a line drive plane. Works mostly to the middle of the field as well as the opposite field. Good student as well.
