Ryan Goff is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Bridgeport, WV who attends Bridgeport HS. Ryan is a solidly built, quick, strong, and agile athlete who shows plus upside, Projectable skill. In addition to his quite noticeable ability on the diamond, Ryan is also an exemplary student. He ran an elite level 6.88 60 yard dash. A primary middle infielder, Ryan shows advanced level ability defensively. He shows some bounce in his footwork and eases into the fielding action with an advanced player's approach. His hands are clean and his glove work is smooth. Sound, athletic transition is apparent. Quick, short arm stroke allows for his powerful arm to really play up. His 87 mph velocity gets his throws on target with firm carry. Exceptional defensive talent. Ryan's advanced ability also shows through at the plate. He has a pure operation that is quiet and consistent. His hands load well and he triggers quickly. His lower half is consistently incorporated into every pass. He shows exceptional feel for the barrel and gets to and through contact with force. Very loud contact!. There is some gap pop in his bat that should only get better with added strength, physical maturity, and exposure to higher level play. Ryan is a gifted young player who shows the unquestioned potential to impact the game at the next level.
