Patrick Pichardo is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-2 187 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Franklin HS. Large frame with present strength throughout. Ran a 7.32 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with simple mechanics and a longer arm action into a high three-quarters release. Shows some deception in delivery and will pound the zone early. Sinking arm side run on the fastball at 81 miles per hour. Sharp depth on an 11-to-5 curveball landing it for strikes. Will pitch backwards and keep hitters off balance. Works in and out well and will create some swing and miss. Also worked out as a secondary third baseman. Deliberate footwork when moving to the baseball. Fields out front with a funnel in. Has arm speed and strength with stiff carry across the diamond topping out at 83 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wider and crouched stance to start. Short leg lift trigger for timing. Compact to the ball with a slightly lifted path. Has some jump off the barrel when squared. Good student as well.
