Nolan Jackson is a 2023 MIF/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Mount Vernon, IA who attends Mount Vernon. Recorded a 7.41 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium, compact build with present strength and athleticism. Primary infielder, Jackson showed off a clean glove fielding the ball out front. Doesn't work around the ball too much, which he would benefit from. Throws have some carry across the infield with low effort. He made routine plays in the game portion, as well. Right-handed hitter, in the box. Hits from a medium base with a longer stride. Lower hand set with a shorter swing path, generating solid backspin on his swings. Inconsistent timing at the plate during BP, in-game timing was better. Average extension, looking to lift the ball into the air. Tools to work with moving forward. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
