Casey Knuckles is a 2022 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Upper Saddle River, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Long and lean frame. Recorded a 7.59 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts with a simple side step to a medium leg lift, smooth paced through gather, stays tall on the back side and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Loose arm circle in the back up to a three-quarters slot, fastball jumps out of the hand well and showed arm-side run. Showed a mix of three off-speed pitches and matches arm speed well across them, slider shows tight spin with late sweep, curveball out of 10-to-5 shape with late depth, changeup with late drop and generating swing-and-miss. Secondary third-baseman, worked out in the infield with longer, deliberate actions, adjusts slot well with accuracy to bags. Right-handed hitter, starts spread, small stride into swing, quick hips with good rotation through contact. Good projection on the mound and will be a talented right-hander to watch with added strength. Great student.
