Zachary Vasconcellos is a 2023 OF/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Huntington Station, NY who attends Half Hollow Hills West. Medium, athletic frame with present strength throughout build and additional room to fill moving forward. Quick-twitch, posted a 6.64 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, aggressive actions moving towards the ball with long and quick strides, fields the ball out front, gathers cleanly and shows present arm strength and carry on throws with accuracy to the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Shows rhythm to mechanics, simple stroke with consistent contact skills, occasionally gets downward with swing path, best contact when working on a linear plane with line drive carry coming. Very good student. Named to Fall Northeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
