Luke Hill is a 2024 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Kings Ridge Christian. Medium frame, square shoulders with emerging strength and a lot of time for growth. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 6.83 seconds. Primary position OF who fielded the ball close to his body and used a lower arm angle to produce throws that reached 86 mph. His feet are active and he is light on his feet and the overall performance will be even better with improved route efficiency. RHH with a nice wide setup leading to small leg lift and a subtle load. His wrists were quick and he launches the bat head to contact where he impacts the ball with surprising violence. Bat speed is present and he takes a direct path to the ball. His pull approach is well justified with the juice he showed in the bat. Secondary position RHP who created a well balanced delivery and operated at a torrid pace. Loads well over the rubber and employed a low 3/4 arm angle that produced a fastball with heavy sinking action and reached 84 mph several times. He was able to start the FB off the plate to right handed batters and bring it back to the zone for a strike. He spun a tight slider that profiles as a true wipeout pitch that sat in the low 70's and missed barrels with regularity. He competed in the zone and set a tremendous tone on the bump. Excellent student who looks like and impact two-way talent in the future.
