Rivers Kurland is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Prep. Medium height with a proportioned and athletic look with lots of remaining projection. Ran a 7.74 in the sixty yard dash. A primary pitcher, really advanced delivery with good timing staying over the rubber and holding coil. The sequence is very good and he uses his base and core efficiently. H3/4 slot and good extension. Solid control to a lively fastball. Varies the SL/CB with vastly different shapes. Can force contact or collect S/M. Plays both outfielder and first base, heady player with true versatility. The game comes pretty easy and he has the instincts, soft glove, and arm strength to play at a high level on the dirt or grass. A right-handed hitter, throws the hips hard and has solid hand speed. Keeps a vertical bat path which leads to natural lift, has feel for the barrel and has a strong point of contact. Excellent two way player. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
