Dylan Ober is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B, SS, UT with a 5-0 100 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends American Heritage. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and has room to fill throughout and develop moving forward. Ran an 8.45 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball off to side, deliberate tempo to approach, works through the ball well upon fielding it, longer arm action through the back, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Glove actions play in the infield out front at ball, wide base but plays low and sees it in, shorter arm action on throws across diamond. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery, leg lift up to belt and works with a quick tempo, lands on line coming down the mound. Medium length arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point; creates short sink on fastball up to 68 mph and shows occasionally running life while mixing an curveball with 11-5 shape and short depth up to 60 mph. Right-handed hitter, utilizes a long stride moving into contact following a hover leg lift; moves into contact well and maintains direction, contact oriented approach. Bat speed will continue to develop with added strength, handsy swing and works on a linear path through the zone, works to all fields with contact. Very good student.
