Ty Mancha is a 2022 C/2B, 3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Albuquerque Academy. Large frame with a lean build showing some room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.69 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, proving to be athletic sitting in his stance while showing to have some feel for framing the baseball. Quick transfers on throw downs as he gained ground and was accurate to the bag. Recorded a quick 1.92 second pop time during drills. Instincts showing for the position and projects well here. Secondary Infielder, quick first step as he worked smoothly around the baseball. Deep gather and then shuffles into throws. Was accurate to the bag as he threw it 81 mph. Fundamentally sound in his footwork. Left-Handed Hitter, starting open with his feet narrow. Long stride forward and proved he could leverage the baseball. Pull-side power showing as he ran into barrels consistently. Proved to have a good eye and projects as a power threat. Outstanding Student. Named to Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.
