Spencer Horner is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Rancho Christian. Big and strong athletic build. Has a clean delivery with a moderate leg raise and an over the top arm slot, works downhill very well, repeats his mechanics well and repeats his release. Fastball sat in the mid-80's with big angle and topped out at 87 mph, threw strikes aggressively with his fastball. Threw a sharp downer curveball as his off-speed pitch and got some swing and miss, has an idea how to mix. 7.64 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound and showed his arm strength well, some idea on his footwork around the bag. Left handed hitter, starts from an open stance with a balanced shift into contact, rotates well and has some strength in his swing, still developing consistency and timing his his approach. Excellent student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
