Cam Carmichael is a 2023 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 182 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel. Nice athletic build with good length and some present strength with more to come. 7.73 runner in the sixty, has good side to side actions on defense with good footwork and balance, charges the ball well, arm strength still developing but his arm works well. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, long and loose swing, lower half works well in his swing, will continue to improve his bat speed as he gets stronger, especially in his hands. Also pitched, has a balanced on line delivery with an over the top arm action, upper body delivery. Showed better arm strength off the mound, topped out at 80 mph with good command to both sides of the plate. Mixes in an upper 60's curveball well and showed nice pitchability for a secondary pitcher. Excellent student.
