Marcus Maire is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends The Woodlands. Large frame with long, lean build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Primary pitcher, works from stretch, coils into back hip and drives downhill, quick arm to 3/4 slot, varied direction, fastball worked 76-78 mph with plane, flashed good spin on CB with depth. Hits from open, spread stance with minimal hand load, middle field approach with lower launch angle, showed good contact skills in game. Worked out in the infield, length and stiffness to actions, segmented into movements, clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Excellent student.
