2022 National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Bradley Dunn is a 2023 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Ft. Lauderdale, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Bradley has a tall and long athletic frame. He does a good job moving around the outfield with an aggressive approach while fielding the ball slightly to the side. Typical longer arm action with accuracy and good carry through target. Dunn does a good job using his lower half and keeping his throws down. From the mound, Dunn starts out on the first base side of the rubber and works down middle of mound with a cross body release. Arm works back behind clean but has a bit of a hook with hand that leads to some inconsistencies. Will benefit from trying to clean that up to help with timing on release. Bradley has a narrow stance in the box. Uses a hanging leg lift to get into loaded position and shows intent to do damage. He shows good ability to drive the bat through zone on a linear plane, and shows strength to the pull side. Used the whole field well, Hanging leg causes some timing issues on balls he should handle easily and consistently. Bradley is a great student in the classroom. Dunn was named to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Team List.
