Will Studebaker is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Atlantic Beach, FL who attends The Bolles. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall and lanky frame and medium build. Projectable frame that has grown 3 inches and gained 30 pounds since year 2019. Middle rubber start to a side-step with mid-chest hands set. Slides the right foot to the third base side of the slab during side-step with a leg-lift to high chest. Lands slightly closed at release point, creating a cross-body delivery to hide the ball for maximum angle and deception. Ran the fastball up to 84 mph with arm-whip to release point. Breaking ball has slurve action from the delivery slot with lateral break and depth up to 70 mph. Mixed in a few changeups at 75 mph for a solid third offering to left-handed hitters. Secondary first base position with long actions and a deep funnel on ground balls. Solid footwork around the bag with accurate throws to second on the turn from a longer arm-action at 82 mph. Right-handed hitter with an open even base start and deep hands set to a deeper hand load with separation and stride. Rotational bat path with some upper-body strength to impact through the zone to the pull side. Recorded a 7.52 second 60-yard dash time. Good student. Named to the 2021 Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
