Teague Drotar is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends Los Gatos. Large and lean build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary outfielder, is meticulous with his reads off the bat as well as his fielding actions. Fields off to the side, longer arm action, throws stay on line to all bags. Good feel for the territory overall. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a three-quarters slot. Side steps into a mid-leg lift, works down the hill with good direction. Stays poised on the hill and competes. Fastball up to 81 mph, heavy feel to the fastball, showcases an ability to get in on hitters to both sides. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball as well as a 68 mph straight change with some slight fade to the plate. At the plate, uses an upright and slightly open stance with a quick front foot lift trigger. Mixes in a toe tap trigger, hands work well when on time, still more left to be unlocked in his lower half. Middle of the field approach, at his best when working the barrel to the inner half of the baseball. Good student in the classroom as well.
