Zachary "Zell" Godbold is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. John's. Youthful frame with smaller build. Ran a 8.27 second sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with high hips behind the plate, showed soft hands with a clean transfer, longer arm action with accurate throws on the base. Righthanded hitter, started with an evenly balanced stance, feet closer together and high hands, very little stride at the plate working on driving the baseball up the middle of the field, keeps barrel long through the zone with a line drive swing path, showed some gap to gap pop. Outstanding student.
