Michael Bright is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Lithia Springs, GA who attends New Manchester. Large frame with a lean build showing some fast twitch type muscle in the build. Ran a 7.10 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step as he works into the baseball in a low, athletic position. Clean gather out front before working into transfer. Arm strength present and was accurate with throws as he threw it 84 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, side step to a balanced lift before driving down the hill. Medium arm circle in the back to a higher slot release. Effortless as he generates easy velocity. Was up to 84 mph as he proved to have a quick arm. Mixed in a sharp vertical slider in the low-70's that he landed for strikes. Secondary Outfielder, proved to have some range as he covered a good bit of ground. Carries weight well through gather and release. Accurate to the bag with one hops as he threw it 84 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, starting spread out and slightly open with the front side. Hands are high as he works into separation. Longer path as he stays linear through the zone. Proved he could find the barrel as he drove it deep to the pull-side. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
