Carter Oglageo is a 2023 UT/RHP, C, IF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Deltona, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.45 60-yard dash time. Utility player with a medium, stocky frame. Stayed low to the ground and aggressive to the ball before fielding it deep at shortstop. Showed softness to the hands and employed a short, compact arm action. Worked on line from behind the plate. Gained ground well and utilized a short arm stroke. Right-handed hitter and starts with a narrow base with slightly open feet and a low hand set. Gets separated well and showed some whip on a level bat path through the zone. Flashed some pull side juice. Secondary right-handed pitcher and employed a core level leg lift. Delivery is quicker-paced as he landed on line at foot strike. Released from a high-3/4 slot and the ball came out of the hand clean. Ran the fastball up to 83 mph with life. Showed good spin on the curveball with 11-5 shape. Should contribute in several facets. Excellent student.
