2022 Lone Star Showcase
Harrison Heiker is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Timber Creek. Heiker works from a long limbed projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. As a primary LHP, he started his operation from the 3B side of the rubber displaying a compact 3/4 slot to top out at 76 mph. He mixed a CH that effectively killed spin as his go to off speed pitch with further room to develop the arsenal. In the OF, Heiker showcased a full arm action and consistently put throws on the bag up to 80 mph. He also worked from 1B where he displayed clean glove work with max effort throws across the diamond up to 78 mph. Offensively, the right handed hitter started from a narrow base with a calm simple approach to generate line drive contact to the pull side. He successfully kept the barrel controlled, posting an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 7.52 sixty yard dash. Good student.
