Bronson Hickman is a 2024 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Chester, TX who attends Woodville. Primary outfielder with a strong athletic build. Showed well in the outfield with a combination of actions and arm strength that standout. Does a nice job working to the ball under control with proper footwork allowing him to carry the momentum into the throws topping out at 93 mph from the outfield. Showed similar arm strength on the infield with solid lateral range. Glove actions are fine funneling the ball in cleanly with a longer gather that he makes up time on with a big arm topping out at 94 mph across the diamond. Works from a square start on the mound with a side step into a belt high leg lift coiling into the back hip before he works down the hill. Works from a three-quarters arm slot with the fastball topping out at 87 mph and pairing it with a sweepy slider in the low 70’s as well as a straight change with some late depth to round out the three pitch mix. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base creating some louder impact with raw strength and bat speed. Attacks the inner half with a more linear bat path working gap to gap with more power to tap into down the line. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 South Top Prospects Games Top Prospect List. Verbal commit to Sam Houston University.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
