Osjun Rivas is a 2025 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Has very athletic actions in the middle infielder on defense, showed lower half quickness and excellent balance, very soft and quick hands, has arm strength and the ability to throw from different slots on the run with carry and accuracy, has plus timing and feel defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with good lower half timing, gets good extension and separation to his swing, line drive swing plane with good balance, uses the entire field. Also pitched, has a clean and quick arm action from an athletic delivery. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with good late sink and run, shows good feel for hitting the glove side corner with his fastball. Tended to drop his release slot on his curveball. Defensive potential and athleticism stand out. Named to the 14U Florida Showcase Top Prospect List.
