Collin Williams is a 2022 MIF/OF with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Morgan Park. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet and shows lateral range with twitch to actions, comes through the ball well, quick release and overall arm strength will continue to develop, accurate throws, repeats actions nicely. Deliberate tempo to actions in the outfield, plays with a bounce to his step, developing hands out front and shows carry on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a high back elbow at the plate. Quick launch at start of swing, utilizes a short leg lift trigger and gets it down, occasionally mistimed with landing. Short swing through the zone, keeps hands inside the ball and shows some quickness to them, can implement additional extension, shows the ability to work to the opposite field. Excellent student.
