Charlie LaFreniere is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Norwalk, CT who attends Green Farms Academy. Recorded a 7.11 second sixty-yard dash time. High-waisted frame with some present physicality and plenty of projection remaining. Primary outfielder with fundamentally sound defensive skill set, showing the ability to gather cleanly out in front and transition into release. Good reactions off the bat with slightly anticipatory actions into fielding, while maintaining good amount of momentum into the throwing motion. Recorded arm strength up to 85 mph in drills, displaying good carry and accuracy to his throws. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, slightly open stance with a lower hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Pull-side approach with aggressive lower half and some present bat speed. Lofted stroke with uphill swing plane, good extension and carry when on-time. Will continue to improve with minor swing adjustments and physical maturity. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
