Erik Anderson is a 2022 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Matthews, NC who attends Carmel Christian. Recorded a 7.16 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop shows good athleticism and a quick first step with a clean funnel and transfer as he changes direction very well while accurately throwing 83 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher has a full wind up with a short sidestep and creates good downhill action on his fastball that tops 87 and sits 85-87 mph while showing late life and some arm side running action. He also mixes in a tight slider with sweeping action at 73 mph. Anderson also took fly balls in the outfield showcasing good arm strength while accurately throwing to the bases at 87 mph. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an even, wide base, high hands, and a high back elbow with a short simple stride showcasing good bat speed and great barrel control. Anderson has quick hands as he works the ball on the inner half with loud pop off the barrel creating good backspin. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
