Gage Reeves is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Paducah, KY who attends McCracken County. Tall and athletic build. 8.40 runner in the 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, belt high leg lift to balance, high three-quarters slot, throws with intent. Located the fastball to the arm-side corner, bigger shaped curveball with 1-7 shape was mixed throughout the appearance. Filled up the zone for his three innings with good two pitch mix. Fastball up to 77 mph (1867 RPM), curveball was up to 67 mph (2138 RPM). Secondary first baseman, clean turns and good footwork around the bag, accurate throws right to the bag, feeds the double play well. Athletic for the size and put together a good round. Recorded throws up to 73 mph. Left-handed hitter, wise base with a slightly open front side, pulls off a little early, hit the ball to all fields and got into a rhythm in the middle of the round. Flatter bat path with good strength at impact.
