Sammy Mummau is a 2023 MIF/SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Dunedin. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Very athletic defensive player, light and quick on his feet, has range and balance in the middle of the infield and can make all the plays, very good hands with a quick transfer, can throw accurately from all the arm angles, not huge arm strength but it plays up with all the other skills. Right handed hitter, has a short and direct line drive swing, accurate barrel, high average contact swing approach that he executes well, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Will always be on the field due to his defense. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
