PJ Morlando is a 2024 OF/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Summerville. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with limited shift into contact but a big and fast hip turn, very simple and direct swing with elite level bat speed, has huge power and shows it consistently, has laid claim to being the best hitter in the 2024 class. Worked out at first base defensively, makes quick turns and has quick feet, makes accurate throws lots of arm strength for the position. Also plays the outfield with good athleticism. Excellent student, verbal commitment to South Carolina. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic Team.
