Jayce Devine is a 2025 OF/MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Canton, MA who attends Xaverian Brothers. Medium build. In the outfield, he shows quick athletic footwork with fundamental glove actions. Carries his momentum gained into the throws and through release. Decent strength to it out of the hand with moderate carry to the plate. Can get uphill and sail it but pretty good when driving it downhill. Right-handed hitter, meidum base and open stance. Initial move is a simple load to a simple launch. Shows feel to leverage the barrel and impact the ball through the gaps. The swing can get a bit steep at entry but is athletic enough to get it square and create loud contact. Solid present power with room to add strength in a projectable frame. Lived on the barrel throughout. 4.78 40-yard. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
